For those of you asking how to incorporate more greens into your kids (or husband’s) diets — this tip is something that has worked really well for Benjamin and I hope it does the same for your child. First, I have B help me put the ingredients in the smoothie, which he loves and looks forward to every morning. This is where I add baby spinach, celery, cucumber and more foods I want him to eat that he doesn’t necessarily have otherwise. Once everything is in the blender, I say, “Okay, come on let’s do our smoothie dance!” — I turn on some music, and then we dance as it blends. I swear this works and it’s become apart of our morning routine. It’s something he gets all excited about and it makes me so happy to watch. Remember to add a colorful straw, this goes a long way.
