Simple & Salty Pumpkin Seeds

Wanna get creative with the extra pumpkin seeds after carving? Okay neither do we because carving isn’t really our thing (except for Alex #truth). But we are most definitely always up for a good snack to try! So whether you’re taking them from your pumpkin or grabbing them at the store, pumpkin seeds are not only festive, they’re also filled with antioxidants like carotenoids and vitamin E (info found here). If you’re in the mood for something simple and salty with a little kick, try this and let us know what you think! 

INGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE): 

  • 1tbs of olive oil
  • Half a lemon
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic 
  • 1tsp salt 
  • 1 tsp paprika

PROCESS:

  • Set oven to 400 degrees
  • Thoroughly rinse pumpkin seeds
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Lay on baking sheet (spray so they don’t stick)
  • Bake until brown (typically 10-15 mins)
