
Tomato Toast
Let us tell you…tomato toast is a thing and if you haven’t tried it, after this…you definitely will. It’s so simple and SO delicious! It’s one that keeps you coming back.

IINGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE):
- Knead Love sourdough bread (can be found online and also at Bonberi Mart if you’re in NYC)
- Miyokos vegan butter (also love Monty’s)
- Tomatoes
- Sea Salt
PROCESS:
- Toast bread
- Spread butter on toast
- Thinly slice organic tomatoes and place on next (really load it up)
- Sprinkle on sea salt (to taste!)
Tofu Tomato Toast
So creamy, so EASY to make. If you don’t love tofu, you can easily sub cashew cream cheese. The most important thing is to feel good about the food you’re eating and allow yourself the freedom to enjoy what fuels your body.

INGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE):
- Food for Life Ezekiel english muffins
- Miyokos vegan butter (also love Monty’s)
- Tofutti cream cheese (also love all of Monty’s cashew cream cheeses)
- Tomatoes
- Sea salt
- Lemon
PROCESS:
- Toast english muffins
- Spread butter on toast (pro tip: put it back in the toaster so the butter melts…very important!)
- Really thinly slice organic tomatoes and place on next
- Spread tofu (or cashew) cream cheese (nice and thick!)
- Layer tomato on top
- Sprinkle on sea salt (to taste!)
- A little bit of squeezed lemon on top *chef’s kiss*
Mushroom Potato Toast
One of the ultimate toasts! It’s what MW eats when she’s really hungry and wants something really hardy. Typically in winter because it’s super warming and it just feels good. Carbs on crack…literally!!

IINGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE):
- Pagel
- Miyokos vegan butter
- ½ avocado
- Mushrooms
- Potatoes
- Sea salt
- Nutritional yeast
- Red pepper flakes
- Avocado oil
PROCESS:
- Slice potatoes and mushrooms
- Pour about 1 tbsp. of avocado oil in pan on low heat
- Sauté potato and mushrooms
- Toast Pagel
- Spread butter on warm toast
- Mash avocado on toast
- Place potatoes and mushrooms on toast
- Top it off with sea salt (to taste!)
- Add a dash of nutritional yeast
- Add on red pepper flakes to give it a kick
Scrambled Egg Toast
We are loving this egg, Violife cheese, and toast situation. If you don’t eat eggs, a tofu scramble works as well. Again, use what feels good for you.

INGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE):
- Bread Alone bread
- 3 cage free eggs (or tofu scramble)
- Violife provolone cheese
- Coconut oil (for the pan)
- ½ avocado
PROCESS:
- Scramble eggs
- Add in cheese and tomatoes (while eggs are still soft)
- Toast bread
- Spread butter on warm toast
- Mash avocado on toast
- Load eggs, cheese, and tomatoes up on the toast
- Always add sea salt to taste 🙂
Avocado Toast
Last but not least…the one that started it all. The simple add ons have spiced up the staple for us and has made it a go-to for MW for many, many years!

INGREDIENTS (ALL ORGANIC WHEN POSSIBLE):
- Dave’s Killer bread
- Miyokos vegan butter (also love Monty’s)
- ¾ Avocado (use whatever the heck you want..it’s not about calorie counting at all; it’s about what I think tastes really good on the bread, and I don’t like it too thick!)
- Sea salt
- Nutritional yeast
- Red pepper flakes
- Lemon
PROCESS:
- Toast bread
- Spread butter on warm toast
- Mash up avocado on toast
- Sprinkle Sea salt, nutritional yeast, and red pepper flakes to taste!
- Squeeze lemon on top!
