A SMOOTHIE RECIPE ALL KIDS LOVE

I had the pleasure to present healthy ways to add in more fruits and vegetables, the importance of movement and meditation to a kindergarten class in NYC. I was definitely afraid I would scared them away with the spinach in the smoothie, but they we’re so obsessed with the taste (literally attacked me for seconds) that I had to share this recipe with you and your kiddos.

INGREDIENTS: (ALL ORGANIC)

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water
  • 1 frozen banana or ice
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1 pitted date
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

PROCESS:

1. Put everything in the blender and blend until smooth (obvi!)
