DON’T TRAVEL EMPTY HANDED (OR WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH)

 

One thing I always try to do pre- flight is to prepare a healthy meal or find the healthiest option to bring. I never head to the airport empty handed, without a meal in tow. I recommend a sandwich while traveling, especially with a kid because trying to manage your babe and eat a salad is not cute. Once my salad literally ended up face down on the floor. When I was in LA I stopped at one of my favorite spots, LifeFood Organic (which is attached to the best infrared sauna in Hollywood- Sweat Theory) and I picked this up. Okay- this sandwich was $15 but it was well worth spending a few (or more) extra dollars to guarantee I had a healthy meal on the plane.

Ingredients (All Organic)

  • Avocado
  • Sprouts
  • Carrot
  • Vegan cashew mayonnaise
  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Guacamole
  • Pickled Onions
  • Organic sprouted hemp bread
