There is something about a bowl of pasta that is so warming and soothing to the body. Sometimes your body craves whole and complete carbs and this is a great option for times like these. While many refined/conventional kinds of pasta are stripped of their nutritional content, brown rice pasta is loaded with fiber and is naturally gluten free (allowing for easier digestion). The spicy marinara gives the pasta a nice kick, and then of course, nutritional yeast is your best friend if you are a fan of the ‘cheesy’ flavor. Nutritional yeast is a powerhouse for vitamin B content and packed with protein. Most people always worry that a plant based diet lacks protein, but there are endless ways to sneak plant-based proteins into your meals and nutritional yeast is one of them! Try out this recipe, you’ll be surprised at how flavorful, warming, and simple it is.
