
Without fail after every morning I have this smoothie I get this incredible burst of energy. Spirulina is one of the richest plant based sources of protein and is loaded with essential vitamins and anti aging effects. Adding just 1 tbsp a day has me feeling leaner and more energized than ever.
Ingredients (All Organic)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup mixed berries (I love it with raspberries)
- 1/2 pitted date (to cut the taste of the spirulina)
- 1/2 peeled cucumber (peel tastes bitter blended in a smoothie)
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/4 cup romaine (optional)
- 1/2 squeeze lemon
- Tbsp organic spirulina powder
Process
- Place all ingredients in a blender for 30 seconds (Click Here) for blender.
- Enjoy

Hi! So i bought the Pure Planet Spirulina and im wondering… can i mix it into my morning sun warrior protein shake? Does it have a very strong taste? Thanks!
HI! You can pretty much mix it with everything. I personally don’t use protein powder, but adding a teaspoon with some berries and coconut water will help cut the strong taste.
Can I ask why you don’t use a plant base protein powder? Just wondering, I have recently turn vegan to help get over some skin issues and I’ve been using raw plant based protein powder but I was wonderknf if there was a health reason why you don’t use protein powder?

I use frozen peaches instead of berries. I also add maca powder, cocoa nibs, açaà powder and flax seed. EVERY DAMN DAY! I haven’t been sick all winter!
